Navistar to Provide FedEx With Indiana-Made Electric Truck
Inside Indiana Business Report - Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) has announced a partnership with FedEx for all-electric commercial trucks. The eStar vehicles are being produced at the company's operations in Elkhart County with help from a $39.2 million federal stimulus grant. The company is currently taking orders for the eStar and intends to deliver 400 units by the end of 2010.

Corey Cressy Selected for 2010 Class of Michiana Forty Under 40
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Grubb & Ellis|Cressy & Everett announced today that Corey Cressy, principal, has been honored as a member of the 2010 Class of Michiana Forty Under 40. The award recognizes 40 outstanding local professionals under age 40 for their business success and community contributions throughout northern Indiana and southwestern Michigan.

National College Expanding Indiana Presence
Inside Indiana Business Report – National College plans to open its second Indiana campus this summer in South Bend and will offer courses in business, computers and health care. The institution says it will invest $2.5 million in the project, which includes 12 classrooms, a medical lab and three computer classrooms. The campus will initially employ about 10 full-time staff and faculty.
"We were pleased to represent the owner in this sale and are happy to see the facility will again be used for education," said Chris Davey, SIOR, with Grubb & Ellis|Cressy & Everett, the agency that listed the 1030 E. Jefferson building. "Higher education is key for all people during these challenging economic times and we have no doubt that National College will offer Michiana students a great opportunity."

ELKHART, Ind. - Grubb & Ellis|Cressy & Everett announced today that it has completed nearly 400,000 square feet of new leases in Elkhart County, including new production facilities for Think North America and Vixen Composites LLC, as well as a warehouse/distribution facility for Syntec Industries.

Don Cressy Receives Award at Salute to Business Luncheon
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Chamber of Commerce of St. Joseph County, along with title sponsor Burkhart Advertising, recognized business success and leadership in the region before nearly 700 in attendance at the 2009 Salute to Business luncheon, held today at the Century Center in South Bend, Ind.
Individual award winners included Don Cressy, the recipient of the W. Scott Miller Distinguished Business Leader Award and Judy Jankowski, recipient of the ATHENA Award. Laidig Systems was recognized with the Economic Impact Award, while Anthony Travel picked up the Small Business of the Year award. Forty other companies in Michiana were recognized for their capital investment over the past year.
The Distinguished Business Leader Award is bestowed upon an individual who has consistently contributed to the area’s business environment, and demonstrates personal involvement and commitment to the progress and quality of life in our community.

Mutual First Financial, Inc. Announces Merger Agreement to Acquire MFB Corp.
Muncie, Ind.-based MutualFirst Financial announced Tuesday that it has signed a definitive agreement to merge with Mishawaka-based MFB Corp., parent of MFB Financial, for about $52.7 million in a cash-and-stock deal. The transaction, which could be completed late in the second quarter of this year, provides for the merger of MFB Financial into Mutual Federal Savings Bank, the bank subsidiary of MutualFirst. Chuck Viater, president and chief executive of MFB, said he expects MFB's executive team to be an integral part of the new organization. SBT
