The firm has been in business since 1946 with commercial offices in Mishawaka, Indiana and Edwardsburg, Michigan. Grubb & Ellis|Cressy & Everett offers a menu of services to clients regionally and nationally. The Brokerage Division specializes in industrial, office, retail, and general commercial services to property owners throughout the region. We also offer buyer-brokerage and tenant representation for the buying/leasing public.

The company also offers Property Management services on a fee basis to owners of office, retail, and industrial real estate. We presently manage numerous projects that have been developed for clients and on our own account.

Development services have become another key element in the growth of Grubb & Ellis|Cressy & Everett. Cressy Associates became a joint venture partner with the Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation in the development of the extremely successful University Park Mall in 1979. This 1,200,000 square foot regional mall was not only the catalyst for the rampant development of northern St. Joseph County, it also created numerous other development opportunities for Grubb & Ellis|Cressy & Everett development services.

In the early 1980's Cressy Land Planning assembled a 700 acre tract of land in the Grape Road development area. The master plan called for the creation of a first class mixed use corporate park, known as the Edison Lakes Corporate Park. Since 1989 when the firm moved into the first building constructed in the park, Grubb & Ellis|Cressy & Everett has played an active role in the development of over 600,000 square feet of Class A office space, 600,000 square feet of new retail space, numerous hotels and restaurants, and residential development creating in excess of $500 million of private and public projects.

Effective March, 1998 Grubb & Ellis|Cressy & Everett announced their formal affiliation with the Grubb & Ellis Company headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois. Grubb and Ellis is one of the nations largest publicly traded commercial real estate firms. Through its company-owned and affiliates in 90 markets, the company provides transaction services, management services, financial services and strategic services to clients worldwide.
